Welcome to the Compass Rose Brass Ensemble webpage!  The CRBE is located in Minnesota and provides a unique musical experience for audiences of all ages. We recently collaborated with Academy Award winning director, Paul Wagner on his newest documentary film, Good Work: Masters of the Building Arts.  For this film, CRBE recorded music by Giovanni Gabrieli for a segment of the film, released in late 2016.

Join us on Saturday, February 2nd at 3pm at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN, where we will be performing Bernstein’s Overture to Candide (arranged by our own Zach Gingerich), J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.

We invited a few of our brass friends to join us to perform the Beethoven, which was arranged by Arthur Frackenpohl as a triple brass quintet:
Kristen Haug – horn
Nicholas White – horn
Patrick Gonsalves – trumpet
Garrett Klein – trumpet
Itai Agmon – tuba

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.  Tickets will be available at the door.
