Description: This concert is an opportunity to hear brass music from across centuries and in a variety of styles. We will be performing works by Frank, Koetsier, Hoagy Carmichael, John Williams, Bach, Handel, and more!
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students over 13; children 12 and under attend for free!
The Hastings Arts Center is making its mark in the Hastings community by providing a wealth of unique concerts and by providing an intimate space to display visual art by local artists.

Performing as part of the St. Mark’s 2014-2015 Music Series, we’ll perform an arrangement of Bach’s A minor Violin Concerto and a virtuosic suite of music from the opera “Carmen”. Come out and hear some beautiful brass music in one of the most beautiful performance spaces in the area.

February 21, 2015 @ 7:30 PM – Experience Brass at St. Mark’s

Location: St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, 519 Oak Grove Street, Minneapolis, MN 55403

Performing as part of the St. Mark’s 2014-2015 Music Series, we’ll perform an arrangement of Bach’s A minor Violin Concerto and a virtuosic suite of music from the opera “Carmen”. Come out and hear some beautiful brass music in one of the most beautiful performance spaces in the area.

We performed arrangements of Bernstein’s West Side Story and Gershwin’s An American in Paris.  Also, 3 brand new and very exciting pieces commissioned by Superbrass!  These are decidedly jazzy works (2 original compositions and one arrangement) inspired by the spirit and culture of Spain.
